The second week of the season gets us out of the small sample size trap a bit for hitters, but not at all for pitchers. It’s just something we’ll have to deal with for a bit.
Small sample sizes and way too early reactions are the name of the game here in the first week of the season. Nobody is winning any titles based on this, although some teams have put themselves into a rather large hole to dig out of.
This episode 0 is an introduction to what Fake League Baseball is going to be. Basically using Out of the Park Baseball to simulate a baseball season using some weird parameters week by week. For this inaugural season I’m looking at using the worst year (by winning percentage) that each team has ever had.
